Yes. As of now, hosts create events for free and guests contribute to the gift for free on Piece of Cake. Everyone gets the same simple, transparent experience.
No surprise jumps. If we introduce a platform fee or any paid feature, we'll: (1) Tell you clearly before you pay, (2) Show the exact fee, and (3) Keep it nominal — just enough to keep the ovens on and the cake coming. You'll always know what you're paying for.
