Yes. Piece of Cake is built around your OMG. You pick the gift before invites go out, so guests know exactly what they’re contributing to when they RSVP and chip in.
You can choose an OMG from the Piece of Cake Store or paste a product link from Amazon or Flipkart. In both cases, we handle ordering, tracking, and delivery.
Gifts from the Piece of Cake Store have clear delivery timelines and usually allow for more last-minute flexibility. Amazon/Flipkart links depend on marketplace delivery estimates, so pool deadlines may be earlier. We show you the deadlines and expected delivery before you confirm.
No. Guests just tap your OMG link, see the event details and the OMG, RSVP, and contribute via UPI in their browser.
No. Piece of Cake works for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, naming ceremonies, housewarmings, farewells, teacher’s day, office events, festivals, and more.
If the pool falls short, you can either top up the remaining amount yourself or switch to a lower-priced OMG before we place the order. We make the options and timelines clear in your host dashboard.
If the pool crosses the target, you can upgrade the OMG where possible, add a small add-on gift, or keep the extra amount as credit for a future celebration. We’ll prompt you with options before we order.
If a marketplace or courier delay puts your celebration at risk, we’ll reach out with alternatives. Depending on timing and your choice, we can switch to a similar OMG, send a “your OMG is on the way” card for the party, or help you re-plan. We only commit to timelines we think we can meet, but some edge cases are out of our control – when that happens, we do our best to make it right.
Right now, we’re focused on building the best OMG experience. In the future, we may add a small platform fee or earn margins on some gifts in the Piece of Cake Store. If and when that happens, we’ll be transparent and show all fees clearly.
